Char Sui Pork Steamed Buns are a Cantonese barbecue bun. You typically find them served as a type of dim sum.
This is always a crowd favourite, sweet and savoury balanced so well inside of the fluffy Bao Bun. Great to have in the freezer for a quick and easy meal since you can just steam them from frozen.
Cooking instructions:
Place frozen Buns into a lightly oiled steamer and cover.
Steam the Buns over boiling water for approx. 15 minutes. Buns are cooked when the meat inside is steaming hot.
Ingredients:
Skin: flour, yeast, sugar, sunflower oil, water
