14 Prawn Dumplings

Ingredients:

Wheat flour (gluten), vegetables (cabbage, spring onion, water chestnut), prawn (Shellfish), vegetable oil (sesame seed, coconut, sunflower seed), oyster sauce (soy sauce, sugar,salt, oyster extract, (oyster (molluscs), water, salt), modified corn starch, monosodium glutamate (flavour enhancer), colourant (caramel), preservative (potassium sorbate)). egg, ginger, dashi (salt, monosodium glutamate (flavour enhancer), bonito extract (fish), disodium succinate), salt, sugar.

 

Allergens

Contains soya egg, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, wheat, gluten, sesame seeds. Made in a factory that uses cow’s milk, rye, barley, oats, spelt, peanuts, tree nuts.

 

Cooking Instructions

Cook from frozen. Pan- Fry 10-15min

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 30ml of oil. Remove the dumplings from all packaging. Add the frozen dumplings, flat side down, to the pan. Don’t overcrowd the pan. Add 100ml of water, immediately cover with lid and lower the heat. The water should only simmer, not boil rapidly. Cook for 10 minutes. If a dry/crackling sizzle sound is heard, lift lid and add more water to prevent dumplings from burning. After 10 minutes, remove lid and let any remaining water cook out. Keep dumplings in pan over low/medium heat until the flat side is light brown and crispy. Remove carefully from pan with silicone tongs/spatula.

 

Steam 10-12 Minutes

Fill a large pot two-thirds of the way with water and bring to the boil. Remove the dumplings from all packaging. Place the dumplings, flat side down, in a single layer in a steamer basket (lined with tin foil or parchment paper), and place on top of the pot. Cover the steamer basket, with the lid and let steam for 10-12 minutes or until the dumplings are soft and cooked. Remove carefully from steamer basket, with silicone tongs/spatula.

 

Serve hot, with your favourite asian dipping sauce.

Keep frozen at -18°C. Once cooked, consume within four days.
